Description: Flashpoint management realised that their in-house solution offered a true competitive advantage and they began to redevelop it with a view to offering it on a licensed basis to customers for their own use. In parallel with this, investment in online and social media advertising grew year-on-year. In 2012, Flashpoint formed an exclusive collaboration with the Clique Research Cluster in University College Dublin. Clique is focused on graph and network analysis and visualisation and Flashpoint joined illustrious collaborators like DataHug, Storyful and Accenture. This alliance along with the support of Enterprise Ireland, who classify Flashpoint as a HPSU (High Potential Start Up), allowed Flashpoint to further develop and grow in domestic and international markets.
